This course is designed to deepen your understanding of child sexual exploitation (CSE), a form of child sexual abuse (CSA), that can affect any child but presents heightened risks for some, including children in care. Due to various factors, some foster children may be targeted by perpetrators, making vigilance and proactive safeguarding essential. By taking this course, you will gain critical knowledge and strategies to help reduce risks and create a safer environment for foster children.

In this course, you will learn:
- What child sexual exploitation (CSE) is
- The risks young people face on- and offline, and proactive steps to reduce these
- How perpetrators target victims
- How to spot the signs of CSE
- How to respond to disclosures, and the steps to take
- How to support victims of CSE.
